Cancer- Nature vs Nurture

Because we had chosen “nurture” over “nature", hence, cancer exists!

Hello learner,

Again, you are welcome to our another newsletter and we are discussing “Cancer- Nature vs Nurture.”

Cancer is a condition of uncontrolled cell division or growth and is also defined as the cells that can’t undergo “apoptosis.” It’s an imbalance in the cell cycle and is caused by genetic mutations or epigenetic alterations.

We life-science students know this, right?

What’s the catch?

What’s the sole purpose of writing this newsletter?

Well, I have read something and impressed with the text. I draw a conclusion that I want to share with you.

Enjoy it!

Nature neither wants cancer nor intentionally causes it. If you use fresh foods and vegetables, breathe fresh air or live in the environment that suits you, where your ancestors have been living, do we have cancer?

Take the example of animals!

They use natural resources to live, breathe in fresh air, and don’t migrate much, if not required!

Do they have cancer? No.

So what’s the point here? We had chosen nurture over nature.

We choose to live comfortably– we set up industries, make packet and chemical-rich foods and an artificial environment full of pollution, radiation and whatnot!

All these collectively have made our life “comfortable.” but gave birth to cancer.

Nature doesn’t want cancer because it intricately impacts its balanced system. Nature controls everything on Earth, even the tiniest cell’s activities. When any nurture factor– pollutants, radiation, bad habits, etc, negatively influences our cell’s DNA, nature detects it!

It is known that these damaged cells can multiply, create new cells, and even form new organisms with altered DNA—variations that nature itself did not originally design.

To eliminate those cells, it’s crucial to remove/separate the individual from the population, so, it makes things worse and even worse for them. And therefore, cancer is lethal, spreading faster from one to another cells, tissues and individuals.

The goal here is to separate people suffering from cancer, from healthy individuals. I know it sounds so harsh, but nature has to do that. And by doing so, we have been able to survive for millions of years and will survive for millions more on Earth.

Those, who are bound to their roots, living with nature, aren’t mostly affected by cancer. We also need to choose the same path to eliminate cancer, not us. So,

Choose nature not nurture!

I hope you enjoyed the reading!
